Does anybody know how or if the electronic door in resident evil 1 opens?

There is a door on the 2nd floor of the manison after you go through the doors above the dining room that is electronicly locked and it says somthing like “you dont know the passcode” Does this door open? if so how?
ok so whats in the room? and where do you find it after the part with the snake?

You have to find the pass code after you do the part with the giant snake.
